Solène specialises in human rights and politics in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. She has worked at the European Parliament, at the Center for Civil Liberties in Kiyev, in supporting inter-parliamentary relations with Eastern Partnership countries. She has previously worked as a human rights advocate in Kyiv, Ukraine. She holds a master’s degree in Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies from the University of Glasgow and has also studied at Kazan Federal University in Russia.
