Ilze Tralmaka specializes in civil and political rights, national and European human rights policies, and international criminal law. She works as a legal officer at the Brussels Office of Fair Trials. Ilze previously worked as a legal adviser to the Parliament of the Republic of Latvia and the Ombudsman of Latvia. She also worked at the International Criminal Court and the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia and was a guest lecturer in international criminal law at the Riga Graduate School of Law. Ilze holds Master’s degrees in Public International Law and Law from Leiden University and the University of Latvia.
